Working hand-in-hand with patients creates a bond with teamwork. Dr. Stinson uses the intra-oral camera to let every patient be a part of each dental decision. This amazing miniature video camera gives you a clear picture of what work needs to be done. You will be very pleased how this works!

75% Reduction in Radiation

With digital X-rays, there is no waiting time for image development and less radiation than traditional X-rays – 75% less! It is a quick and easy process with the placement of a digital sensor in your mouth and an immediate download of the image into our computer. No more waiting time for developing the X-ray and no polluting chemicals are necessary.

Goodbye Goopy Impressions

We are excited to bring to our office the intra-oral scanner that replaces the old-fashioned tray-and-putty impression process. With this scanner, we can to make accurate digital impressions for your crown or bridge area, which means an even more precise fit and improved accuracy. This means you’ll spend less time at the dentist and more time enjoying your new smile.

Worried About Knocking Out a Tooth?

Proper protection can reduce or eliminate the many teeth that are knocked out each year from trauma to the mouth while playing sports. Over 5 million teeth are lost each year just in the US! The use of a custom-made mouthguard will protect your teeth without hindering adequate breathing. The mouthguards found in stores do not fit or protect well and they often make breathing difficult during exertion. The American Dental Association encourages the use of a custom mouthguard for these sports:

Wrestling, basketball, boxing, football, gymnastics, handball, lacrosse, martial arts, roller hockey, ice hockey, rugby, shotputting, racquetball, skateboarding, skiing, soccer, field hockey, squash, surfing, skydiving, volleyball, acrobatics, water polo, and weight lifting.

Nitrous Oxide Sedation

We want you to be comfortable for any treatment, and we use nitrous oxide sedation that will let you release any anxieties. The medication is easily inhaled through a mask that will keep you relaxed throughout your treatment. Nitrous oxide together with a local anesthetic will eliminate any pain in most cases.
